Kitchen Dress

A kitchen dress?  Yes, a kitchen dress...for a toddler.  You mean an apron?!? LOL!  It was informed to me by a little birdie that my sweet niece was wanting a 'kitchen dress.'  And well, I could not resist.  Not only could I not resist her want for one, but who would keep a sweet thing from discovering her inner chef! Not me.  So check it out! Hope this is my first toddler apron among many !

P.S. Once gift is opened (Christmas) I hope to get some pictures of the kitchen dress on its rightful owner! For now, enjoy the stand in model :)

Closet Finds

With fall kicking in and winter being around the corner, I got to cleaning out what needed to go.  Some things old, out of season, or just not used anymore.  I found myself wanting to hang on to a few old favorites.  I am not one to just keep things around, I do like purging and the idea of 'less is more,' but I do find value in reusing certain things. It got me thinking,  could I make those items useful again as something new?

Here is to the first of a few projects, old to new. . .

At the Dinner Table

Gifting around the holidays and graduation for a birthday keeps things interesting, specially for a soon to be college grad.  To go practical or not?  Think I have found a good in between with place mats! Good for small or big spaces, home or away, chic and practical.  You can dress them up or dress them down.  Here's to one year older sis and may they accompany you on your new adventure.

All great change in America begins at the dinner table.

Trick or Treat , oh so sweet!

First Halloween for our precious girl.  So I knew, regardless of what we would be doing, I would make her a costume.  The costume also needed to be fit for a princess.  After thinking long and hard, I finally went to work with idea in mind.  Few days later,  we had a visitor from the Alderaan....
